At our innovation talk we are very much looking forward to Barbara Reichhold, Geschäftsführerin, Holzinnovationszentrum GmbH, who together with Hannes Kollross, Vertriebsleiter isn – innovation service network, will give an insight into the world of innovation at HIZ.

With the idea competition "Im Kreis gedacht – deine Idee für eine nachhaltige Zukunft" the HIZ invited creative impulse generators from the region and beyond to make active contributions to a sustainable future in the Murau Murtal region last fall. At the innovation talk, Barbara Reichhold provides insights into this open innovation initiative as well as an outlook on upcoming activities.

The Holzinnovationszentrum (HIZ) is a driving force when it comes to bioeconomy, circular economy and sustainability topics.

12 Firmen – die meisten aus der Holzbranche – mit rund 250 Mitarbeitern, arbeiten und produzieren bereits am 40 Hektar großen Areal des HIZ. Durch Kooperationen, die Nutzung einer eigenen Prototypenwerkstätte sowie Büro- und Veranstaltungsinfrastruktur fördert das HIZ die optimalen Voraussetzungen für Synergien.
