From September 7-10, 2023, the annual Weltbund Meeting of the Auslandsösterreicher-Weltbunds (AÖWB) was held in Graz, Austria, providing a unique opportunity for collaboration, discussion and inspiration.
The Weltbund meeting is not only a general assembly, but also a cultural celebration and a place of exchange. In addition to the working sessions, the program includes a rich cultural offer and is rounded off by representative receptions of the official bodies.
A special highlight was the keynote speech by Reinhard Willfort. In his inspiring talk, he presented the current crowdsourcing initiative of the AÖWB, which was launched under the motto „Deine Ideen. Unsere Zukunft. Österreichs weltweites Potenzial!“ This innovation campaign using crowdsourcing aims to attract both new ideas and new minds in order to bring about sustainable change together.
"When the best ideas meet the right people at the right time, magic and lasting impact can happen", explains the initiator of the innovation initiative Josef Labschütz, a board member of the Auslandsösterreicher-Weltbund (AÖWB).
