The 4 Austrian hubs united on stage at the EDIH Business Talks 2024: EDIH Crowd in Motion, INNOVATE – European Digital Innovation HubEDIH Applied CPS, und EDIH AI5production at salz21, the technology and innovation forum of the province of Salzburg.

The EDIH Business Talks 2024 took place in Salzburg on March 7, 2024. Under the moderation of Reinhard Willfort, more than 120 visitors were offered practical insights into the work of the EDIHs.

With a focus on successful innovation ecosystems, the EDIH Austria Business Talks 2024 offered exciting practical insights:

  • Phil Budden from MIT explained the 5 most important elements of successful innovation ecosystems. Above all, it is about building trust between all partners in the ecosystem as a basis for innovation.
  • Hannes Erler and Andreas Spechtler provided valuable input from their innovation experience with larger companies and start-ups.
  • The service portfolio of the four Austrian EDIHs, represented by Eva Hollauf, Claudia Schickling, Helga Pattart-Drexler and Martin Benedikt, was presented on the basis of project examples and experiences with digital innovation projects.
  • In the World Café setting, concrete innovation projects were developed around current key technologies and EDIH offerings for potential customers. 

Reinhard Willfort and Paul Kampusch provided in-depth insights into 10 areas of application for digital innovation platforms. The event offered a unique platform for knowledge transfer, inspiring discussions and practical insights. Visitors were able to actively network and benefit from the experience of renowned experts.

Innovation Managers Club Meeting

The Innovation Managers' Club also used this forum as an opportunity for one of its meetings, initiated by isn - innovation service network. Under the motto "Swarm intelligence meets artificial intelligence", forward-looking topics for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in innovation management were once again discussed in depth.
