As part of the EFRE co-financed "r2v next" programme, tecnet's focus for 2024 is on the circular economy, digitalization and business development.
On 1 February 2024, the first of a total of four events on the topic of "Business Modelling in the Circular Economy" took place at the Haus der Digitalisierung in Tulln. isn - innovation service network was called in by the organizer tecnet equity to support and advise on the organization of the events.
The aim was to discuss how companies and research institutions in Lower Austria can contribute to the development and implementation of business models in the context of the circular economy.
The event began with inspiring keynote speeches from three outstanding speakers.
In addition to the presentations, there were also opportunities for networking and in-depth discussions. Representatives from companies, research institutions and other organizations took the opportunity to make contacts and initiate joint projects.
And this is how it continues …
In preparation for the next workshop, we are collecting further creative input on the operationalization of sustainable business development for companies. Examples such as TÜV Austria and AustoCel Hallein show that sustainability and the circular economy also promote positive economic development.
Ziel ist es, Inputs on the topic of the circular economy and ultimately lead to new design approaches in the use of energy and resources.

After the extremely inspiring kick-off event, we are entering the second round on March 19, 2024 with experienced experts and lateral thinkers to make use of the numerous inspirations and positive examples. Our aim is to identify initial approaches and ideas, particularly in the areas of process logic, product development and (digital) communication.
The World Café will be followed by a concretization phase together with lead users in May 2024. The aim is to further develop selected ideas from the previous workshop and condense them into concrete design prototypes.
As the highlight of the “r2v next” series, we present the results. The prototypes from the two workshops (r2v Labs) will be presented here, as well as keynote speeches by 1-2 experts, followed by a plenary discussion. Expected in September 2024.
You are cordially invited to contribute your ideas and input until 18.3.2024 and be part of the change!
