RWTÜV, an independent group of companies with international holdings in the insurance services, telecommunications and energy and environment business areas, is focussing on innovation and is joining isn - innovation service network. The Austrian company has been providing services and tools for innovation-intensive organisations since 2001.
RWTÜV stands for safety and progress and at the same time sees itself as a driver of innovation in co-operation with science and research. Through an actively practised culture of innovation, including an annual internal innovation competition, the company drives forward its own development and the consistent development of its subsidiaries. To this end, RWTÜV has relied on collaboration with isn for years: ’We have a competent and experienced partner here who has quickly established our innovation management with expertise and a digital innovation platform throughout the Group’, explains Thomas Biedermann, Managing Director of the RWTÜV Group.
RWTÜV creates future-orientated value with strategic investments in innovation-oriented start-ups and companies. The Group now wants to initiate further innovation: ’There is a great need for innovation in several sectors in Germany’, analyses Fabian Fechner, Deputy Managing Director of RWTÜV. To this end, the Group is entering into a partnership with isn - innovation service network. ’We now want to bring these innovation services, from which we ourselves benefit, closer to our customers and thus promote their economic dynamism and, ideally of course, that of the country as a whole“, plant Fechner. „Our trust in the 150-year tradition of our medium-sized company and the innovative expertise of isn form a perfect synergy to encourage our customers to invest in their own innovative strength.‘ For its part, the RWTÜV Group expects the co-operation to give it direct access to innovation trends so that it can continue to play a pioneering role in the evaluation and promotion of technological innovations.
isn is one of the market leaders on the innovation scene with an international reputation. After 23 years of pioneering work, the agency won one of the 151 European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) in 2022 as part of a consortium focussing on innovation technologies. It thus became part of a European network with over 1,600 innovation and technology partners. In addition to the RWTÜV Group, the Fraunhofer Institute is one of isn's top customers, along with AT & S, OeNB and the Vivatis Group. isn is aiming for further corporate development and internationalisation through its partnership with RWTÜV.
In recent years, there has been a disproportionate increase in the pace of innovation in many industries around the world. isn is playing a key role in the development of this innovation market. ’The first step was to build up knowledge with customers: Since 2001, we have established various innovation courses from flexible online training to the Master's programme Innovation Management MSc with partners’, explains Reinhard Willfort, founder and managing director of isn. ’More than 2,500 participants have attended our courses to date. Many of them have now become innovation customers or innovation partners. Larger companies that find it difficult to establish appropriate processes often have some catching up to do.‘ The strategic cooperation with the RWTÜV Group is now set to open up an international network for further expansion while maintaining independence and innovative dynamism as far as possible.
