Obituary of Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr Marjan Leber

It is with great sadness that we announce that our valued friend and colleague Marjan Leber passed away on 21 November 2024 after a serious illness at the age of 68.

His passion for innovation, his commitment, his empathy and his sunny disposition have not only enriched our team, but have also significantly shaped the culture of the isn group of companies.

Marjan has been the managing partner of Innovation Service Network d.o.o. in Ptuj, Slovenia, since 2002. He played a leading role in setting up the subsidiary in Slovenia and managed it for many years in parallel with his position as a university lecturer and researcher at the University of Maribor.

He was also heavily involved in international research and development projects for isn. Even in difficult times, Marjan has always led the way with full support and confidence.

An extraordinary personality and an amiable, generous person is leaving the Innovation Tribune far too soon. What remains are many unforgettable moments in Austria and Slovenia, always in the light of his extraordinary hospitality and warmth.

Our sympathy goes out to his grieving family and friends. May his positive nature live on in our hearts and may the values he always stood for characterise our daily actions.

And we are sure that Marjan did not start his last journey without tasting his home-grown wine for his new hosts.
