The "Hedera Hashgraph Innovation Program" is a cooperation of ISN with The Hashgraph Association (THA) and Swiss Digital Assets Institute (SDAI) with the goal to connect innovative start-ups and companies and to build a community in Austria.

Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed, secure database (also called Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)). It has the potential to sustainably change numerous business models.

Important advantages are for example:

Speed and safety - Large amounts of data can be distributed to many users in a short time, thus the stored data is distributed decentrally and protected against manipulation.
Network reliability - due to the decentralized organization, a total failure of the entire network is almost impossible, a recovery is particularly easy.
Transparency - Each transaction is stored in a block and is no longer changed. Information can thus be transparently traced and the effects of transactions reproduced.

The difference to existing DLT technologies is that Hedera Hashgraph is particularly fast, consumes little energy and typical bottlenecks of classic blockchains (such as scalability, speed and energy costs) are thus overcome.
