The crowdfunding for the spreading conveyor at Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn was a complete success! Thanks to the generous support and participation of over 200 supporters, around €600,000 was raised for the project.
The group lifts spreading conveyor and Lärchfilzkogel are going into well-deserved retirement after 33 years, having carried over 23 million passengers. Construction work on the modern monocable gondola lift has already begun and promises more comfort, quality and a better view for guests without increasing the travel time.
The Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn GmbH are investing in the modernization of their lift offering and are replacing the old F1 Streuböden and F2 Lärchfilzkogel group lifts with a modern and comfortable 10-passenger monocable gondola including a mid-station. The main construction work will be carried out in summer 2024 and the new lift will open at the start of the 2024/25 winter season.
